Overview

We offer support in representing clients in today’s world of increasing and complex litigation involving domestic and international disputes.  We have the necessary qualifications and the experience to bring clarity and persuasiveness to difficult cases involving civil and criminal litigation, corporate and shareholders disputes, equitable distribution, white collar crime and federal, state, and local tax controversies.

International / Domestic Representation Before Taxing Authorities

We act as the clients’ representatives for federal, state, and local tax examinations by replying to correspondence and providing explanations on tax returns and documents.  We have extensive experience in resolving the proposed disallowance of deductions by governmental agencies at all levels.  We prepare protests that cite reasonable causes to abate penalties assessed.  Also, we have presented oral and written arguments before an IRS appeals conference and before the U.S tax court.

Asset Recovery / Liquidations Services

We represent both domestic and multinational clients in seeking to secure or recover assets.  We resolve complex settlement negotiations involving cross-border transactions.  We are qualified to give advice concerning the most practical approach to liquidate assets.

Investigative Services

We provide tests of internal control and an analysis of financial records in conjunction with dispute resolutions.  We also provide fraud and theft investigations.  Our damage measurement methods can determine the extent of financial loss and illegal accounting practices.
